Do you know what version of “Don’t Look Back Into The Sun” is played on S2 E4? It’s not the original Libertines one…

Im not sure, but the only version I think it can be is don’t look back into the sun, covered by the View, the only place i have heard it is the bbc radio1 established 1967 album. I’ll check it out later on tonight…

The sleeping montage from Episode 2 of Series 2 is credited as Jack Johnson, but the song is actually “No Fear of Falling” by I Am Kloot.

Sorry Twynne, I’m pretty sure that it’s Jack Johnson. The I Am Kloot song is similar, but not quite right.

I just re-watched the episode and looked the lyrics up online. Although, I’m watching on BBC America in the US. Perhpas they didn’t obtain the rights here and had to change the song.

Twynne and Jon, you are both correct!
When the show was broadcast on television, the sleeping montage was backed by ‘Wrong Turn’ by Jack Johnson.
For some reason, possibly legally related, the song was changed to I A Kloots ‘No Fear of Falling’ on the DVD.

Love this site and the music listings are great. There’s a piece of music when Nessa finishes bowling, before they get in the car in Episode 4 series 2 which isn’t listed. Any ideas please?
    Thanks

    Hi Sam,

I think you’re thinking of “Gravity” by Embrace (last song of the series?) It would be in part two of our “Series 2” music posting (link at the top of the page).

    Cheers.

Wrong Turn is NOT the song played in the sleep montage!!! The sleep montage song has the lyrics about dreams!!

They had to use different music on the DVDs vs on the original broadcast. Wrong Turn was on the BBC3 aired version. Others have commented on the music from subsequent airings and on the DVDs.
