The Telegraph certainly thinks so with, “Gavin and Stacey’s James Corden: From joblessness to Stateside fame and fortune.”
Although success eluded Corden during the first few years of his career, he’s made it big with UK hit Gavin & Stacey (among other projects). Now Gavin & Stacey is scheduled for a US-makeover and poised to make its creators millions.
I agree with the article author, Gavin & Stacey should translated well for the US audience. Here’s hoping it sees as much success as another UK comedy export, The Office. Coincidentally (or not) both are slated for broadcast on NBC.
