Creative duo James Corden + Ruth Jones reveal to Scotland’s The Daily Record that they remain “in the dark” about the US-remake of their hit show, Gavin & Stacey.
The co-creators are slated to be executive producers of the NBC version, along with Baby Cow Productions (who makes the UK-version) co-founder Steve Coogan (perhaps best known to American audiences as the star of the upcoming Hamlet 2).
Aside from revisiting Gavin & Stacey‘s BAFTA-success and Corden + Jones’s writing style, the article also adds fodder to the James Corden Birthday Mystery. Corden is scheduled to turn either 28 or 30 on 8/17. We imagine this year’s bash will shed light on the issue – 30 would be a bigger milestone + potentially a bigger party.
