Wales is alive with the filming of the upcoming Gavin & Stacey Christmas Special.

Not a whole lot of info on the plot, but looks like all major characters are returning and the special is picking up where series 2 left off. Hopefully we’ll see the continued reconciliation of Gavin + Stacey as well as more of Nessa and Smithy as they enter parenthood.
Also sounds like the special will air on BBC 1, providing a much larger audience. It also still sounds as if this will be the end of the Gavin & Stacey saga. While James Corden + Ruth Jones have consistently hinted that a third series may be in the works, they’ve also insisted that there be a good idea first. Hopefully the two can get one on paper and we’ll be seeing Series 3 round about summer 2009.
