Corden had confirmed the two were dating during a November 2007 appearance on Friday Night with Jonathan Ross. However, by March the media had lit up with rumors of a James Corden-Lily Allen romance after the pair hit it off during her talk show. Though Corden has insisted the two remain simply friends, a series of dinners and dates ensued.
Over the summer it appeared that Corden and Smith were back together, but by November Corden was back to flirting with the ladies, including Strictly Come Dancing champion Aleisha Dixion.
Regardless of their romantic involvement, Corden and Smith are set to reprise their 2008 roles as hosts of the What’s On Stage Awards scheduled for 19 Feb.
