Sad news for Gavin & Stacey fans, as The Sun is reporting that the third series of the show has been cut from seven episodes to six. Stars and co-writers Ruth Jones and James Corden have said that time is a factor – with both stars becoming too busy to film the originally planned run.
Last night a BBC spokeswoman confirmed: “There is one less episode this series.”
Good news for James Corden fans however, The Sun is continuing to report that the BBC3 sketch comedy Horne & Corden is being renewed for a second series. As they say,
Beeb chiefs said they are in “advanced” discussions with Mat and James to create another series.”
Gavin & Stacey is set to film this summer, with a potential fall air date. Meanwhile, Horne & Corden will end it’s six-episode original with episodes on 4/7 and 4/14 at 10:30pm on BBC3.
Or you can catch up on the series via the official site and BBC iPlayer.
