I watched the acceptance speech, and to be frank, with wanting Gavin and Stacey to win, I was disappointed in the manner in which James Corden after the announcement their show had won, then left his seat primarily with pace, walked off ahead and left the more Senior and prominent actors for dust.

Striding up on stage, taking the award for himself to hold (the whole time!!!), while seemingly under influence of something??? When Larry Lamb, obviously elated at winning the award with everyone cheered to the audience, it was great, his smile lit up the room, but it seemed all to be about James, showing only his total selfish attidude and approach, when fulfilling what most would agree, a minor supporting role against great performances continually throughout all the series so far of, Alison Steadman, Larry Lamb, Ruth Jones, Joanna Page and Mathew Home, as well asBob Brydon and Melanie Walters of course.

When Alison went to pull James in on stage for a group hug, he just walked away, what an embarrassment, and I felt sorry for the rest of the cast on stage to have to put up with those actions, all the while putting a smile on for the cameras…Shame on you James…not a good look!!!
