The couple, along with son Max, enjoyed the day, caught up on some news, and (it appears) got the chance to just relax.

Corden has long been a supporter of Sport Relief, filming many appearances for the charity. Most notably as his Gavin & Stacey character Smithy.

Still no word on the new babe’s name.

According to sources, Corden is worried about continuing the family tradition and giving his son the middle name “Kimberly.” And it is this hesitation that has delayed the naming.

Various news outlets, including The Mirror, note that James Corden has signed a multi-million pound deal to write his autobiography.

Although there is no official word on the deal’s worth, The Sun reports a seven-figure sum.

Corden, only 32, is still young  but reportedly has a great many stories to share.

A friend of the star said he has a lot to say.

Speaking to the Sun, they said: ‘James just said “f*** it”, it was a lot of money and why not? Loads has happened in his life people don’t know about.

‘He spent a lot of time living in New York when he was in the movie The History Boys. They were great times.

‘He might be 32 but there are a lot of stories to tell. He was an actor first and the fame came later.

‘He’s fiercely proud of his family and his humble upbringing and wants to get that across too.’

Other musings in the book may also be about his friendship with David Beckham, his relationship with actress Sheridan Smith and nights out with his former flatmate and History Boys co-star Dominic Cooper.”

The memoir, published by Century (part of the Random House Group), is due out 1 Sept 2011.

Poor Jules is doing great but is really uncomfortable. “The only thing she wants in her bed these days is a pregnancy pillow to get comfy. I’m just an annoyance – and it’s only going to get worse.”

No word yet on rumored baby names.

The duo, who first met on Gavin & Stacey, had a double-hit of flops last year with a widely panned movie (Lesbian Vampire Killers), sketch show (Horne & Corden) and various appearances (the BRIT awards).

Since then they’ve created some distance and worked to rebuild their careers. Horne has gone back to the stage while Corden has kept busy with various projects.

Horne says now,

I hope we’ll work together again. It was important not to do anything because of the horrible stuff last year. I wanted to continue acting and he wanted to do his quiz show stuff, so it was natural we wouldn’t work together for a bit.”

Various news outlets are reporting rumors that James Corden and girlfriend Julia Carey are expecting their first baby.

PopSugar has pics of the couple out at Nobu last night, while SkyNews captured the following quote about the pregnancy

The couple have been dating for a year and were introduced by Corden’s former flatmate, actor Dominic Cooper.

Corden announced: “It’s true. We’re both absolutely over the moon.”

“We really couldn’t be any happier,” he told The Sun.

The comic recently bought a house with 31-year-old Julia who is a former TV producer and now works for Save The Children.

The baby is due in six months.”

Corden started dating Carey after his breakup with on again/off again girlfriend (and Gavin & Stacey co-star) Sheridan Smith.

The successful British Actor has found a friend and advocate in trans-Atlantic star Simon Cowell.

A TV insider said: “Simon clearly rates him, so that fact has been noted in the States and he is being carefully considered.

It’s not the first time Corden has looked for a US audience. Last year we revealed James was Hollywood bound.
